Razlaga: Whether uporabimo:
- ko govorimo o dveh možnostih: She did not know whether she would go out or not.
- za predlogi: We are interested in whether we could get discount.
- pred nedoločnikom: They can’t decide whether to buy the flat or not.
- kadar ima cel stavek vlogo osebka ali predmeta: Whether I should trust you is still a question./The question is whether you are to be trusted.
Kdaj lahko uporabimo oboje – whether ali if?

Pravilno: Pravilni sta obe možnosti, razlikuje se le pomen stavka.
Razlaga:

During vedno stoji pred samostalnikom, ki označuje čas. Pomeni med in nakazuje obdobje ali enkraten dogodek znotraj daljšega časovnega okvira. Namesto during lahko uporabimo tudi predlog in.

Razlaga: Take uporabimo, kadar smo aktivno vključeni v dogajanje in lahko posegamo v trajanje dogodka. Če za glagolom stoji osebni zaimek (me, you, him, her, us, them), moramo vedno uporabiti glagol take:

Razlaga: Pridevnik tall uporabljamo, ko navajamo višino ljudi, dreves in zgradb (My brother is very tall). High uporabljamo, ko želimo izraziti, da je nekaj visoko nad tlemi (The plane is flying high).
